Remove the sins of the slave

From Anas Ibn Malik رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he struck it with his staff making the leaves fall then the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Indeed saying الحمد لله, سبحان الله, لا إله إلا الله and الله أكبر remove the sins of the slave just as the leaves fall from this tree.

Easy Dhikr for expiation of minor sins

Easy Dhikr for expiation of minor sins

قال رسول الله ﷺ : ما على الأرض أحد يقول لا إله إلا الله ، والله أكبر ، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله ، إلا كفرت عنه خطاياه ولو كانت مثل زبد البحر.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “No one upon the earth says;

• Laa Ilaaha Illaallaah • Wallaahu Akbar • Walaa Ḥawla Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaah

Except that his sins will be expiated from him even if they were to be (abundant) like the foam on the surface of sea.”

● [رواه الترمذي ٣٤٦٠ ، حسنه الألباني]

Note: The mentioned Ḥadeeth speaks of sins they require sincere repentance.

Rabbanaa wa la kal hamd, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh

One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when he ﷺ raised his head from the position of ruku` (bowing position),

he said: “Sami Allahu leman hamidah” – ‘Allah hears the one who praises Him’.

A man from behind added:

رَبَّنـا وَلَكَ الحَمْـدُ حَمْـداً كَثـيراً طَيِّـباً مُـبارَكاً فيه

“Rabbanaa wa la kal hamd, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh”

‘Our Lord, all praise is due only to You, praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed.’

When we finished [the prayer] the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Who spoke?’ The man said, ‘I did’. He ﷺ said,

‘Indeed I saw some 30 angels all scuffling to see which one of them could record it.’

Beware of wasting your day here and there,

Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyaad (rahimahullah) said to ‘Aasim Al-Ahwal:

O you! Do not allow the people’s great number of people to busy you, for indeed the final affair will only be about you besides them.

Beware of wasting your day here and there, for surely this is counted against you, and I have not seen anything more beautiful in seeking or faster in catching than a new good deed for an old bad deed.
