Make dua for the small things too.
Those tiny little routine tasks we do everyday that we’ll most likely accomplish deserve prayer as well. Truthfully we do nothing through our own strength.
We’re blessed to have the ability to walk.
We’re blessed to be able to see and hear.
A menial task for me might be a mountain for someone else, so shouldn’t I ask for ease and give thanks?
In the dua we make after every meal we say, “You’ve provided for me though I am powerless”.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told us that our past sins will be forgiven when we humbly admit to this after eating.
We should admit to our powerlessness when we wake up. When we’re getting dressed.
When we begin to walk. That is asking for ease. That is giving thanks. We…
