The successful life transaction

The people of taqwa patiently endure a few days that they spend in this world knowing that those days are going to be followed by a long rest.

This is the successful life transaction they have entered into with Allāh ﷻ. This world to the eternity of the Hereafter is nothing, so what is it to bear some hardship.

This is the dunya, the abode of trials and tribulations. The world wanted them but they didn’t want the world. The world is always calling, and the only way to avoid its call is that you can’t want it.
