He gives you chance after chance to change your ways

Allah covers your sins because He is the Most Merciful.

Not because he accepts your sins, or is pleased with them. He gives you chance after chance to change your ways, to ask for His forgiveness, to return back to Him.

Therefore, the one who is sinning constantly but at the same time continues living under Allah’s blessings should not fool himself by thinking that he is in a good state.

For Allah says: And let not the disbelievers think that Our postponing of their punishment is good for them. We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.”[3:178]
