Manifest from the radiance on his face 🙂
The person who is righteous and honest, his honesty is manifest from the radiance on his face, and his honesty can be known from the glow that is on his face, likewise the (opposite for the) sinful one and the liar.
The older a person gets, the more this sign becomes apparent.
Thus a person as a child would have a bright face, however if he becomes a sinful person, adamant on committing sins, at the older stages in his life, an ugly face would manifest that which he used to internalise, and the opposite is also true.
It has been narrated that Ibn Abbaas (radiyallaahu ‘anhu) said, ‘Indeed righteousness illuminates the heart, radiates the face, strengthens the body, increases provision, and produces a love in the hearts of the creation for that person.
Whereas sinfulness darkens the heart, greys the face, weakens the body, and produces hatred in the hearts of the creation for that person.’
Never let the opportunity to smile slip away.
Never let the oppoortunity to give salaams pass you by.
Never let the opportunity to say a kind word escape you.
Your keeness in acquiring the little good deeds will lead to the great deeds of great reward.”
From the Wise Sayings of Luqman
If you’re in prayer, take care of your heart;
If you’re eating, take care of your throat;
If you’re in another man’s house, take care of your eyes;
If you are among people, take care of your tongue.
Remember two matters and forget two matters:
Remember Allah (SWT) and death;
Forget any good that you have done to another and any evil that was done to you by another.”
Don’t let a day pass without remembering death, fearing hellfire and striving for jannah. Don’t let a day pass without practicing Islam and making dua for the Ummah.
Don’t let a day pass without thanking and remembering ALLAH.Don’t let a day pass without reading & understanding ayat from the Qur’an.
Don’t let a day pass without doing any type of charity (even a smile) .
Don’t let a day pass without fulfilling your salah on time.
Don’t let a day pass without asking for forgiveness and rectifying bad deeds.
