Safeguarding one’s heart is every Muslim’s personal responsibility.

Safeguarding one’s heart is every Muslim’s personal responsibility.

Turning one’s heart towards right or wrong is not possible without Allaah’s permission.

He is the One who flips the hearts of people depending upon their desires.

Between the blink of eyes, Allaah changes the condition of hearts. A person sleeps as a practising Muslim and wakes upon Kufr.

A person may be strict when it comes to the laws of Allaah, but he may go astray by choosing a wrong path in no time.

A person may be regarded as the most respectful person in his communityand he may be humiliated in their eyes in no time.

Therefore we advised told to ask Allaah to keep our hearts firm upon Islaam.

Eemaan is something which has crests and troughs, it oscillates a lot, it does not have a constant state.

Sometimes it oscillates fast and we feel the warmth of Eemaan, but most of the time it oscillates and we feel decrement in our Eemaan.

Eemaan is something which has a taste its not tasteless.

As Qur’aan teaches that when accidently you see a non-mahram woman, lower your gaze and Sahaabah used to run away from that place let alone just lowering the gaze.

He said when you do that, you will feel the sweetness of the Eemaan.

Safeguarding one’s heart is every Muslim’s personal responsibility.

If your heart is corrupt, then nothing else is left because Eemaan resides in one’s heart.

When heart is corrupt due to negligent sins without tawbah, Eemaan evaporates from one’s heart and heart becomes available for any junk stuff like satanic thoughts.

What else is more scary when we are told that only those Muslims will be safe on the day of judgement who were given a Saleem (calm, peaceful, submissive) heart in this life?
